Currently and for the last ten years serving as Vice President of Business Affairs at Accent Food Services, based in Austin. Previously with Sawyer Vending Service (Austin) for 23 years until Sawyer became part of Accent. Served as President and General Manager there.
Born in Italy, Dominic Macerola immigrated to the United States in 1966. He started Rome Refreshments Services, a Houston based vending, coffee and water company in 1978 with a high school diploma and a few dollars in his pocket. He has been president for over 33 years. Dominic is married and has four children.
David was born in Dallas and raised in DeSoto, Texas. After graduating from DeSoto High School, David attended El Centro Community College. David joined Mcliff Coffee + Vending in January 1992 and has worked as a route salesman, supervisor and branch manager. He has worked as sales manager and an auditor for Mcliff’s corporate office. He enjoys all college sports and attends numerous games each year with his wife Alice. David and Alice have been married for 28 years, have 6 children and 10 grandchildren.
Except for being born in New Orleans, I’ve been in the North Texas area my entire life. I started in the vending industry as a route driver for ProStar Services in 1995. I have since spent time with All Seasons Services, Canteen Dallas and am now back at ProStar/Parks Coffee having just completed 12 years of (combined) service with the company that introduced me to vending/coffee service. I have attended TMVA for over twelve years and have served on the board since 2009.
A Oklahoma transplant, I went to school at Oklahoma Christian University moving to Mineral Wells,Texas In 1986. In 1988 I begin my career in the vending industry as a maintenance technician, route driver, and warehouse manager. I have one child, Colton, who will graduate from Oklahoma Christian University in December of 2012. There are many activities that I enjoy such as golf, softball and basketball. When I’m not playing, I’m officiating. Farming and ranching take up the rest of my time. I am active in my Church, and have been a Deacon for many years until my wife passed away in 2009.
Tommy has been a member of TMVA since 1985 and an active Board Member since 1990. After serving 30 years in the coffee industry with Maryland Club Coffee and Procter & Gamble, he and his wife Connie started their rep firm Loftus & Associates serving the Vend and OCS Industry. Tommy & Connie have 4 children, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Tommy’s hobbies are fishing, hunting & family fun.
John is currently a Customer Sales Executive on the Specialty Retail team for The Hershey Company. He has been with Hershey since 2000. John is a 1997 graduate of Drury University. He serves as a director and head of marketing efforts for Will’s Kids, a Houston based non-profit looking to better the lives of children. John lives in Houston with his wife Kelly and 2 daughters.
My name is Mike Burkett and I am President of Truman Dobbins & Associates. Truman Dobbins & Associates was formed in 1981 by Truman and Sharon Dobbins. Both were active in TMVA. I have been in this business since 1991 and have owned the company since 2001, which is based in Spring, Texas.
Phil was born in St. Paul , Minnesota. After graduating from Bemidji State University Phil moved to Austin, Tx in 1986 to begin his career with Vistar. Sine 1989 Phil has been the Sales Manager in Houston, Tx. Phil has served on the TMVA board since 1995. When he is not working he enjoys golfing and he loves to travel.
Born-Hollywood, California, 1947, Alumnus of the University of Southern California. I have been Involved in vending and catering since 1969, with all the predecessors of Blue Ribbon, in 4 major cities, and 3 states, to include Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. I first attended TMVA in 2005 and have been a member since 2006. I served on the board since 2008. At 64 years of age, I am more valuable to remind people that good character, honest intentions, and mutual benefit will lead to the best actions and decisions.
Lynda has been in the brokerage business for over 30 years. She has been in the vending business & a member of TMVA since 1993. She has been on the TMVA Ladies Board for 5 years with 2 of those years holding the title of President, NCE 2005. Lynda has been a board member for 9 years and is currently the PAC Chairman.
Serving in various Sales capacity roles for PepsiCo, Inc. over the last 9 years. Currently a Key Account Manager, selling the ‘full bag’ of business including Pepsi, Frito-Lay, Gatorade, Tropicana and Quaker amongst many other billion-dollar brands to Foodservice and Vending Workplace customers. Prior to PepsiCo, breadth of experience extended from Human Resources to Training and Facilitating to Event Planning. In addition to serving on the Texas Merchandise Vending Association’s board, co-chairs the Raising Awareness Committee of a large Employee Resource Group called Woman of Color to further Diversity and Inclusion initiatives in business. Also a member of RISE Native American Indian council at PepsiCo. An Alumnus of Texas State University with a BA in Management and active in the Chi Omega Alumnae Association.
Patrick is the co-owner of Moran Munchies Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Evangel University and a Master of Divinity from the Baptist Missionary Association Theological Seminary. He has completed the Executive Development Program at Michigan State University and the Boy Scouts of America Wood Badge Leadership Training Program; the highest level of adult Scout leader training available. He serves as President of the Texas Merchandise Vending Association, Secretary of the Whitehouse ISD School Board, Committee Chairman of Cub Scout Pack 370, and is on the Board of Leadership Tyler. He enjoys outdoor activities with his family such as boating, canoeing, hiking, and whitewater rafting. Patrick and his wife Jane have been married 22 years and have four children.
